WYSIWYG (pronounced wiz-ee-wig) is a computing term for "what-you-see-is-what-you-get" referring to a system where the visual form and appearance of changes during editing is similar to the final results when published and used elsewhere. There are many different types of software implementing this concept, most commonly used in word processing like Microsoft Word, as editing visually provides a far better user experience than using codes and command line interfaces.
WYSIWYG editors allow users to create content as fast and as accurately as possible, normally with a live preview of the applied changes. At PageSection, we developed a WYSIWYG HTML editor to allow users save time creating HTML markup and web content. Take a look at some of our sample templates below and get started today.
Check out the live demos to edit online; visually by clicking on the text to edit, or with HTML markup using the code editor. Toggle between preview modes, print as PDF, or export the final results as HTML. Sign in to access a variety of extra features such as downloading the project for offline use.
This sample template uses a page with a gray background-color, content padding and margins for better reading experience. You can apply other changes using the editor.
Similar to other templates, this uses a page with body padding and margins, but also provides a white background and more sample content. For this case, we also include custom font settings.
A basic template with no styles applied, no padding, margins and fonts. Use the side-bar to add more content, or check-out the other customizable templates.
If the provided free html templates aren't suitable, or if you already own a custom template, then consider using PageSection as a platform to upload, preview, share or edit HTML templates. Simply upload a zip file containing the HTML template files (like HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and generate a URL web link to view the files online.
